Tariq Khan

Tariq currently works as a Development worker, meeting with partner agencies and the local community, acting as a link between the community and the council.  He is involved in applying for funding,  delivering training programmes, managing, supporting and developing the website.

Tariq has particular experience of working with younger people that have faced social exclusion. He has worked as: a Neighbourhood Co-ordinator; a Project Manager of the 4th International Youth Dialogue, establishing partnerships with local and international bodies, delivering training programmes; a Peer Educator mentoring young people, finding sustainable education opportunities for disadvantaged young people.
