Yvonne Palmer

Yvonne is the Operations Director of Birmingham Foundation, Trustee / Board member of Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid and has recently completed a Foundation Degree course in Voluntary and Community Organisation Development.

She was previously a board member for the West Midlands Regional committee of the Big Lottery (formerly Community Fund). Yvonne is also a committee member of Friends of 100 Black Men of Birmingham, a self-help voluntary organisation that provides mentoring services through community programmes.

She has gained a vast amount of knowledge through this including publicity, promotion, fundraising, charity law, business and strategic planning, project management and human resource management. She has a range of grant making and community development experience, and a well-developed knowledge and understanding of the private, statutory and voluntary sector.
